Constable shot dead

A constable was shot dead when he was praying inside a temple here by three unidentified motorcycle-borne gunmen today, police said.
Nityanand Yadav (52), posted in the central jail in the town, was shot at from close range by three assailants injuring him critically.
He died on his way to a hospital.
All exit routes had been sealed and raids are being carried out to nab the killers, they said.
