Container Corporation Q4 net up 19 pc at Rs 293 crore

State-run Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) today reported 18.97 per cent jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 292.71 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 246.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014, CONCOR said in a filing to the BSE.
Its total income from operations increased to Rs 1,497.45 crore during the quarter from Rs 1,296.76 crore in the corresponding period of 2013-14.
The firm's total expenses rose to Rs 1,260 crore during the quarter from Rs 1,080.30 crore year ago.
The company did not give its consolidated figures for the quarter. However, for the full year, it reported 11.68 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,054.58 crore.
For the 2013-14 fiscal, it had posted a net profit of Rs 944.25 crore.
Shares of CONCOR closed at Rs 1,680.15 apiece, down 3.08 per cent on the BSE.
