Cutting-edge design and decoration trends including home decor items and architectural models from design houses in India and abroad will be showcased at the third edition of 'India Design ID', which begins here on February 13.
The three-day exposition, billed as a one-stop platform for a new generation of designers, promises to bring to light emerging talent, celebrity designers and international products in the world of design.
Over 101 exhibitors from diverse disciplines ranging from product to interior design, architecture to conservation, installation to lighting design have been lined up.
The event is scheduled at the NSIC Grounds in Okhla, the same venue which hosts the annual India Art Fair.
"We are in our third edition now and have grown in scale with more quality showcases. We want this to become a globally recognised platform for design and make it an annual event on the international map," Pramiti Madhavji, member of the core team of ID 2015, said.
The exhibition is a culmination of various offsite activities that kicked off in various part of the city from February 5.

"India is a very creative country with an audience that understands good design. However when they want to shop for homes they travel abroad to international fairs as there was a dearth of a high style decor brand showcase in India.
"We want to be a platform where people from the design and architecture trade meet and interact to promote the business of design," Madhavji said.
Three verticals -- Exhibit ID, ID Symposium and ID Satellite comprise the exhibition.
'Exhibit ID' on February 13-15 is based on home decoration and design and open to trade and general visitors. High end brands and designers present collections through individual booths, trend galleries and installations, plus a curated montage of contemporary craft and young talent.
'ID Symposium' on February 13-14 is a series of conferences where design pundits will share their knowledge and expertise with the audience.
While seeking to inspire the design fraternity in India, it also offers a networking opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas and build relationships within the industry.
International stalwarts in the design industry such as Fuhimiko Maki, Paola Navone, Sebastian Wrong, Sunil Sethi and Ambrish Arora and others are slated to speak at the event over two days about design and modern concepts.
