The controversy erupted after the CM, at a recent public gathering, said more than 100 HPCC secretaries had been appointed without consulting him, his ministers and members of district and block-level Congress committees.
Two secretaries -- Pradeep Verma and Kusum Verma -- had tendered their resignation in protest and five others expressed their anguish in a letter to Sukkhu recently.
The controversy was due to "lack of communication" and issues have been resolved, said Chairman of HPCC Media department Naresh Chauhan.
The government and the party will work in unison to take their achievements to the people and ensure victory in the 2017 Assembly polls, Chauhan said.
The party is united and there was no bitterness on the issue after talks between them, he said.
Whether the HPCC secretaries appointed by Sukkhu will continue in their position, remains uncertain, party sources said.
