There was a slight nip in the Delhi air today as cold winds swept the national capital on a clear day.
The minimum temperature dropped two notches below the normal to settle at 6.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum was recorded at 21.3 degrees, a notch below the season's average, said a MeT official.
Visibility was recorded at 1,000 metres at 8.30 AM, but it improved to 3,000 metres at 11.30 AM.
While flight operations were normal, 12 Delhi-bound trains were reported to be running late while 46 of them were cancelled as announced earlier.
Humidity in air oscillated between 34 and 100 per cent.
The forecast for tomorrow is for the skies to be "mainly clear".
"Mist and shallow fog is likely to occur in some parts of the city. The maximum is expected to be recorded at around 22 degrees while the minimum is likely to settle at 7 degrees," the MeT official added.
Yesterday, the minimum was recorded at 9.4 degrees while the maximum had settled at 22.6 degrees.
