Constable Dushyant (26) was killed and sub-inspector Madanpal Singh was seriously injured when their motorcycle was hit by a truck near Madhupura village under Swar police station area, the home department said.
The truck overturned after the accident and its driver fled from the scene, they said adding, the injured person has been admitted to hospital.
Both the policemen were posted at Swar police station, they added.
