Copper, aluminium strengthen on increased demand

Prices of copper and aluminium were up Rs 2 per kg at the local market today due to increased demand from consuming industries.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries mainly led to the rise in copper and aluminium prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap went up by Rs 2 to Rs 396 per kg.
Aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, were scrap and utensils were also enquired higher by Rs 2 each to Rs 166, Rs 167, Rs 169 and Rs 166 per kg respectively.

Zinc ingot 114-120, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,068-1,073, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 396, Chadri deshi 285.

Lead ingot 100, Lead imported 101, Aluminium ingots 166, Aluminium sheet cutting 167, Aluminium wire scrap 169 and Aluminium utensils scrap 166.
