Traders said increased demand from consuming industries mainly led to the rise in copper and aluminium prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap went up by Rs 2 to Rs 396 per kg.
Aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, were scrap and utensils were also enquired higher by Rs 2 each to Rs 166, Rs 167, Rs 169 and Rs 166 per kg respectively.
