Copper and brass advance on sustained demand

Copper and brass prices advanced at the non-ferrous metal market here today following heavy stockists buying amid sustained demand from industrial users.
Elsewhere, aluminium prices also gained due to good demand from consumer industries.
Copper sheet cuttings firmed up by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 383 from Tuesday's close Rs 375 and copper armature rose by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 385 as against Rs 378.
Brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 295 as compared Rs 290 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils and copper wire bar edged up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 402, Rs 395, Rs 368 and Rs 430 as against Rs 399, Rs 392, Rs 365 and Rs 427, respectively.
Aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils inched by a Re per kg each t Rs 143 and Rs 117.
