Copper, brass and nickel gained at the non-ferrous metals market here today following stockists' buying amid good demand from industrial users.
Zinc slipped marginally owing to sluggish demand from alloy industries.
Nickel rose by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 990 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 980.
Copper scrap heavy and copper sheet cuttings moved up by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 451 and Rs 445 as against Rs 447 and Rs 441, respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper armature and copper billets edged up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 455, Rs 448 and Rs 483 as compared to Rs 452, Rs 445 and Rs 480, respectively.
Copper utensils inched up per kg to Rs 421, brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cuttings regained by a rupee per kg each to Rs 338 and Rs 355.
However, zinc prices edged down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 212 from Rs 215 previously.
