Copper edges up on industrial demand

Copper prices traded higher by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries.
Traders attributed the rise in copper prices to rising demand from consuming industries.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap inched up by Rs 2 to Rs 372 per kg.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 110-116, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 900-905, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 372, Chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 96, Lead imported Rs 102, Aluminium ingots Rs 150, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 146, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 146 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 144.
