Copper extends losses on reduced industrial offtake

Copper extended losses and fell by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous market today due to reduced industrial offtake.
However, other base metals settled around previous levels after moving in a narrow range in scattered deals.
Traders attributed the slide in copper to reduced industrial offtake.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap fell by Rs 2 to Rs 416 per kg.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 114-120, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,091-1,097, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 416, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 106, Lead imported 107, Aluminium ingots 166, Aluminium sheet cutting 167, Aluminium wire scrap 169 and Aluminium utensils scrap 166.
