Copper falls on subdued demand, global cues

Copper prices eased by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slacknened demand from consuming industries amid a weak global trend.
Traders said slackened demand from consuming industries mainly led to decline in copper prices.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months fell 0.6 per cent to USD 5,109 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap were down by Rs 2 to Rs 362 per kg.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 100-106, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 915-920, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 362, Chadri deshi Rs 285.
Lead ingot Rs 96, Lead imported Rs 97, Aluminium ingots Rs 150, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 151, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 153 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150.
