At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February surged Rs 5.15 or 1.68 per cent to Rs 311.65 per kg in a business turnover of 20,654 lots.
On similar lines, metal for delivery in far-month April traded higher by Rs 5.05 or 1.63 per cent to Rs 315.65 per kg in 1,309 lots.
