At Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in far-month April was trading higher by Rs 3, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 394.60 per kg, in a business turnover of 125 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 2.40, or 0.62 per cent, to Rs 390.15 per kg in 1,597 lots.
Analysts said pick up in domestic demand, particularly from consuming industries, supported the upside in copper prices at futures trade.
