Copper prices drifted lower by 0.82 per cent to Rs 435.35 per kg today as speculators book profits at prevailing levels.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in April declined by Rs 3.60, or 0.82 per cent to Rs 435.35 per kg in business turnover of 3261 lots.
On similar lines, the metal for delivery in far-month June shed Rs 3.55, or 0.80 per cent to Rs 440.25 per kg in 27 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by participants, easing demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly weighed on copper prices at futures trade.
