On Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery fell by Rs 1.05, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 436.80 per kg in a business turnover of 2,055 lots.
Similarly, the November contract of the metal traded down by Re 1, or 0.23 per cent, at Rs 441.65 per kg in a business turnover of 155 lots.
Globally, copper for three-month delivery traded lower by 0.74 at USD 5,730 per tonne at the London Metal Exchange.
