Traders said sentiment turned better after copper climbed in overseas markets amid dwindling stockpiles and easing tensions in Ukraine on reports that Russia has recalled troops after a snap drill.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months rose 0.5 per cent to USD 7,001 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap, lead ingot and lead imported were up by Rs 2 each to Rs 438, Rs 134 and Rs 132 per kg, respectively.
