Traders said besides pick up in demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market, a firm trend overseas kept copper and nickel prices higher.
Globally, nickel for delivery in three month rose 0.7 per cent at the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel plate (4x4) rose further by Rs 2 each to Rs 365 and Rs 818-823 per kg, respectively.

Lead ingot Rs 95, lead imported Rs 101, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148.
