Copper, nickel fall on reduced industrial offtake

Prices of copper and nickel moved down by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries mainly kept pressure on copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4x4) eased by Rs 2 each to Rs 429 and Rs 1,080-1,086 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 118-124, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,080-1,086, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 429, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 104, Lead imported 105, Aluminium ingots 166, Aluminium sheet cutting 167, Aluminium wire scrap 169 and Aluminium utensils scrap 166.
