Copper, nickel move up on pick up in demand

Prices of copper and nickel moved up by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metal market today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries.
Traders said pick up in demand from consuming industries and a firming global trend mainly influenced copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4x4) rose by Rs 2 each to Rs 427 and Rs 1,086-1,092 per kg respectively.

Zinc ingot 118-124, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,086-1,092, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 427, Chadri deshi 285.

Lead ingot 102, Lead imported 103, Aluminium ingots 164, Aluminium sheet cutting 165, Aluminium wire scrap 167 and Aluminium utensils scrap 164.
