Copper, nickel remain weak on reduced industrial offtake

Prices of Copper and nickel fell further up to Rs 4 per kg at the local non-ferrous metal market today due to reduced industrial offtake.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries mainly kept pressure on copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital,copper mixed scrap and nickel (4x4) were trading lower by Rs 2 and Rs 4 to Rs 423 and Rs 1,080-1,086 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 114-120, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,080-1,086, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 423, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 102, Lead imported 103, Aluminium ingots 164, Aluminium sheet cutting 165, Aluminium wire scrap 167 and Aluminium utensils scrap 164.
