Traders said sentiment bolstered as copper advanced in global markets after a gauge of Chinese manufacturing expanded at the fastest pace in five months, boosting demand prospects from the world's biggest user of industrial metals.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months rose 0.8 per cent to USD 6,898 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4x4) rose by Rs 2 each to Rs 442 and Rs 1,093-1,094 per kg, respectively.
