Traders said sentiment turned better as copper traded near the highest in almost a week in global markets after data showed confidence among US homebuilders reached the most in seven months and as investors look ahead to Chinese manufacturing data.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months gained 0.30 per cent to USD 6,926.75 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel(4x4) rose by Rs 2 each to Rs 430 and Rs 1,092-1,098 per kg respectively.
