Copper, nickel slide on sluggish demand

Prices of copper and nickel declined by Rs 3 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders attributed the fall in copper and nickel prices to muted demand from consuming industries.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel plate (4x4) fell by Rs 3 each to Rs 375 and Rs 845-850 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 107-113, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 845-850, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 375, chadri deshi Rs 295.

Lead ingot Rs 92, lead imported Rs 98, aluminium ingots Rs 156, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 152, aluminium wire scrap Rs 152 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150.
