Copper, tin drop on subdued demand

Copper and tin dropped further at the non-ferrous market here today due to stockists selling amid subdued demand from industrial users.
Nickel, lead, zinc and brass utensils scrap were slightly up owing to mild offtake from alloy industries.
Tin prices declined by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 1,310 from Tuesday's close of Rs 1,318 and copper sheet cuttings dipped by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 364 as against Rs 370 yesterday.
Copper armiture moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 370 as compared to Rs 373 previously.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 383 and Rs 411 from yesterday's closing level Rs 385 and Rs 413.
Copper scrap heavy and copper utensils softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 378 and Rs 347 respectively.
However, nickel and brass utensils scrap gained Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 740 and Rs 277 as against to Rs 738 and Rs 275 respectively.
Lead and zinc inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 136 and Rs 168.
