Copra advances on rising demand, pepper recovers

Copra Rajapur, Copra edible, copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices strengthened further at the Spices market here today due to rising demand from stockists and retailers.
Elsewhere, black pepper recovered on fresh offtake from stockist and retailers coupled with higher export demand.
Meanwhile, ginger bleached and ginger held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra Rajapur surge by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 8,800.
Copra edible, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode climbed by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 8,200, Rs 7,200 and Rs 7,100 as against Rs 8,100, Rs 7,100 and 7,000 yesterday.
