Copra Alapuzha recovers in a mute trade
Press Trust of India Mumbai Copra Alapuzha prices recovered in an otherwise listless spices market here today due to renewed demand from stockists and millers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.
Meanwhile, rest other local spices market remained closed following All India Mathadi, Transport and General Kamgar Union strike in protest against the state governments move to make amendments to the labour laws.
Copra office Alapuzha climbed by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 10,200 from last Friday's closing level of Rs 10,100.
Copra office Kozhikode ended stable on last Friday's closing level of Rs 10,000 per quintal.
