Copra declines on lower demand

Copra declined further at the spices market here today due to lower demand from stockist and retailers coupled with higher arrivals from producing regions.
While, black pepper and ginger remained stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra edible and copra Rajapur shed Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 9,300 and Rs 9,400 from Monday's closing level of Rs 9,400 and Rs 9,500, respectively.
Copra office Kozhikode fell by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 7,900 from Rs 7,950.
Copra office Alapuzha also moved down by Rs 30 per quintal to Rs 8,020 as against Rs 8,050 yesterday.

Black pepper (per kg) 531/581 (531/581), ginger bleached (per kg) 205 (205), ginger unbleached (per kg) 215 (215), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 8,020 (8,050), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,900 (7,950), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,400 (9,500), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 9,300 (9,400).
