Copra drifts on subdued demand

Copra prices drifted further at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid subdued export offtake.
Rest all other spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Copra edible Mumbai dropped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 7,600 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 7,800.
Copra office Alapuzha, Copra office Kozhikode and copra Rajapur Mumbai moved down by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 5,800, Rs 5,600 and Rs 11,400 as against Rs 5,900, Rs 5,700 and Rs 11,500, respectively.

Black pepper (per kg) 700/755 (700/755), ginger bleached (per kg) 160 (160), ginger unbleached (per kg) 180 (180), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 5,800 (5,900), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,600 (5,700), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 11,400 (11,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,600 (7,800).
