Copra edible declines on lower demand

Copra edible prices declined in an otherwise steady spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockist and retailers. While, rest of the other spices ruled stable in the absence of any major buying. Copra edible Mumbai fell by by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 5,800 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 5,900. Following are today's closing rates in Rs with previous rates in brackets: Black pepper (per kg) 450/480 (450/480), ginger bleached (per kg) 145 (145), ginger unbleached (per kg) 160 (160), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,800 (4,800), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,700 (4,700), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,300 (6,300) Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,800 (5,900).
