Copra edible gains in lacklustre trade

Copra edible prices gained further in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today due to consistent demand from upcountry buyers and millers amid limited arrivals from key producing regions.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra edible Mumbai rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 10,300 from its overnight closing level of Rs 10,200.

Black pepper (per kg) 565/625 (565/625), ginger bleached (per kg) 265 (265), ginger unbleached (per kg) 285 (285), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 9,300 (9,300), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 9,200 (9,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 10,800 (10,800), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 10,300 (10,200).
