Copra ends mixed in a lacklustre trade

Copra edible moved up on renewed retail offtake.

Rest all other spices remained steady owing to lack of buying support.

Copra Rajapur Mumbai fell by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,400 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 6,500.

Copra edible Mumbai, however gained by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 4,675 as against Rs 4,650 previously.

The following are today's closing rates in rupees with previous rates in brackets:

Black pepper (per kg) 400/430 (400/430), ginger bleached (per kg) 85 (85), ginger unbleached (per kg) 100 (100), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 3,800 (3,800), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 3,750 (3,750), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,400 (6,500) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 4,675 (4,650).
