Copra gains on good demand

Prices of Copra Rajapur, Copra edible Mumbai, Copra Alapuza and Copra Kozhikode gained at the spices market here today due to good offtake from stockists and retailers.
Elsewhere, black pepper and ginger ruled stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai and Copra edible Mumbai climbed Rs 200 each per quintal to Rs 17,200 and Rs 9,500 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 17,000 and Rs 9,300.
Copra office Alapuza and Copra office Kozhikode also rose Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 7,800 and Rs 7,600 each as compared to Rs 7,700 and Rs 7,500 yesterday.

Black pepper (per kg) 665/735 (665/735), ginger bleached (per kg) 230 (230), ginger unbleached (per kg) 250 (250), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 7,800 (7,700), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,600 (7,500), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,200 (17,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 9,500 (9,300).
