Copra gains on rising demand

Copra office alapuzha, copra office kozhikode, copra rajapur mumbai and copra edible mumbai gained at the spices market here today following rising demand from stockists and retailers amidst good export offtake.
While, rest of all spices ruled stable in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Copra office alapuzha and copra office kozhikode rose by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 6,900 and Rs 6,800 from Wednesday's close Rs 6,800 and Rs 6,700.
Elsewhere, copra rajapur mumbai regained by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 9,800 as against Rs 9,500 yesterday and copra edible mumbai firmed up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,800 as compared Rs 8,600.

Black pepper (per kg) 670/750 (670/750), ginger bleached (per kg) 140 (140), ginger unbleached (per kg) 160 (160), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 6,900 (6,800), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 6,800 (6,700), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,800 (9,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,800 (8,600).
