Copra Rajapur drops on low demand

Copra Rajapur dropped in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today due to low demand from stockists and retailers.
All other spices ended stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra Rajapur fell by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 13,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 13,500.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 675/735 (675/735), ginger bleached (per kg) 160 (160), ginger unbleached (per kg) 180 (180), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 5,900 (5,900), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,800 (5,800), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 13,000 (13,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,600 (7,600).
