Copra Rajapur drops on reduced demand

Copra Rajapur prices dropped at the spices market here today on reduced demand from stockists and bulk traders amidst ample stocks position.
While, copra office Alapuzha gained further due to consistent demand from stockists and retailers amid firm millers offtake.
Black pepper, ginger bleached and unbleached recovered modestly on good retail offtake following renewed export enquiries.
Copra Rajapur fell by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 22,500 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 23,000.
However, copra office Alapuzha rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 10,100 from Rs 10,000.
Black pepper climbed by Rs 20/30 per kg to Rs 730/790 as against Rs 710/760 previously.
Ginger bleached and unbleached moved up by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 225 and Rs 245 as compared to Rs 220 and Rs 240, respectively.

Black pepper (per kg) 730/790 (710/760), ginger bleached (per kg) 225 (220), ginger unbleached (per kg) 245 (240), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,100 (10,000), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 9,800 (9,800), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 22,500 (23,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 13,800 (13,800).
