Copra Rajapur eases in muted trade

Copra Rajapur Mumbai prices eased in an otherwise lacklustre trade at the spices market here today due to lower demand from stockists and retailers.
Other spices ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai slipped by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 17,800 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 18,000.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 715/790 (715/790), ginger bleached (per kg) 210 (210), ginger unbleached (per kg) 230 (230), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 7,400 (7,400), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,200 (7,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,800 (18,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 9,100 (9,100).
