Copra Rajapur gains on firm demand

Copra Rajapur Mumbai rose further at the spices market here today on firm demand from stockists and retailers.
All other spices ruled stable in the absence of any large- scale buying activity.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai surged by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 9,300 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 9,000.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs) with previous rates in brackets:
Black pepper (per kg) 735/805 (735/805), ginger bleached (per kg) 150 (150), ginger unbleached (per kg) 170 (170), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 5,100 (5,100), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,000 (5,000), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,300 (9,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 6,500 (6,500).
