Copra Rajapur recovers in listless trade

Copra Rajapur Mumbai recovered in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today owing to renewed demand from stockists and millers.
Elsewhere, black pepper also recovered smartly on good retail offtake following fresh export enquiries.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai prices rose by Rs 200 per quintal to 17,200 from last weekend's level of Rs 17,000.
Black pepper moved up by Rs 5/10 per kg to Rs 580/710 from last Saturday's level of Rs 575/700.

Black pepper (per kg) 580/710 (575/700), ginger bleached (per kg) 240 (240), ginger unbleached (per kg) 260 (260), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,200 (10,200), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 10,100 (10,100), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 17,200 (17,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 12,200 (12,200).
