Copra Rajapur recovers on renewed demand

Copra Rajapur prices recovered at the spices market here today on renewed demand from stockists and retailers amidst good export offtake.
Meanwhile, copra edible declined due to subdued offtake from stockist and retailers.
Rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Copra Rajapur climbed by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 22,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 21,500.
However, copra edible fell by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 13,600 as against Rs 13,800 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 725/775 (725/775), ginger bleached (per kg) 270 (270), ginger unbleached (per kg) 290 (290), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 11,500 (11,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 11,300 (11,300), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 22,000 (21,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 13,600 (13,800).
