Copra Rajapur slip on lower demand

Copra Rajapur Mumbai slipped in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today on lower demand from stockists and retailers following ample supply position.
Elsewhere, rest all other spices ruled stable in the absence of any largescale buying.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai declined by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 16,500 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 16,700.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 740/805 (734/805), ginger bleached (per kg) 215 (215), ginger unbleached (per kg) 235 (235), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 7,500 (7,500), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 7,400 (7,400), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 16,500 (16,700), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 9,000 (9,000).
