Copra Rajapur Mumbai slipped in an otherwise mute spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and millers.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices ruled steady owing to lack of buying support.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai fell by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 16,500 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 17,000.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) 621/721 (621/721), ginger bleached (per kg) 220 (220), ginger unbleached (per kg) 240 (240), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 9,400 (9,400), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 9,200 (9,200), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 16,500 (17,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 11,800 (11,800).
