Copra Rajapur surges on rising demand

Copra Rajapur Mumbai surged further at the spices market here today on rising demand from stockists and retailers.
All other spices ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai climbed by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,400 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 9,200.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs) with previous rates in brackets:
Black pepper (per kg) 735/805 (735/805), ginger bleached (per kg) 150 (150), ginger unbleached (per kg) 170 (170), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 5,900 (5,900), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,800 (5,800), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,400 (9,200), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 7,000 (7,000).
