Copra surges on renewed demand

Copra Kozhikode firmed up, while copra Alapuzha, Rajapur and edible Mumbai prices recovered at the Spice market here on fresh demand stockists and millers amid good export offtake.
While, rest of spices held steady in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai spurted by Rs 1,000 per quintal to Rs 22,000 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 21,000 and Copra Edible Mumbai climbed by Rs 400 to Rs 13,600 per quintal from Rs 13,200 previously.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode also gained by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 10,800 and Rs 10,700 as compared to Rs 10,700 and Rs 10,600 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 740/790 (740/790), ginger bleached (per kg) 250 (250), ginger unbleached (per kg) 270 (270), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 10,700 (10,800), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 10,600 (10,700), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 21,000 (22,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 13,200 (13,600).
