Alleging that Madhya Pradesh police were partial in dealing with a case involving the State Forest Minister's daughter and his son, retired Gauhati High Court Chief Justice R S Garg today said he will move the court if law enforcers don't book her within five days for allegedly threatening to kill his son with a firearm recently.
"If the police don't register a case against Dr Shikha Ghanghoria, daughter of Forest Minister Gaurishankar Shejwar, on the complaint of my son Ritwik and his acquaintance architect Neha Dwivedi within five days, I am going to move the competent court to get justice," Garg, who had also been judge at Madhya Pradesh and Patna High Courts told reporters here.
Post-retirement, Garg has settled in Indore.
He alleged Shikha's BMW car hit Neha's car in Kanadia area on November 19 from the rear side, following which Shikha started arguing with her.
The retired CJ said "when my businessman son Ritwik tried to mollify Shikha, she abused him and pulled out a pistol from her car and threatened to kill him."
Shikha (40), an Associate Professor with Government Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, said that at the time of incident she, along with her 7-year-old daughter, was going to get a cake. She said when she was searching for a place to park her car, Neha reversed her four-wheeler and dashed against her vehicle.
"After initial arguments, things were sorted out amicably. In the meantime, Rithwik came and started throwing his weight and misbehaved and abused me," Shikha alleged.

She rejected the retired Chief Justice's accusation that she pulled out a pistol and threatened his son. "Neither I possess a pistol nor I have a licence of a firearm," she said.
Justice (retd) Garg said police, on the complaint of Shikha, booked Ritwik and Neha on the charge of abusing and rash driving under IPC. But, on the other hand, he alleged that though his son and Neha in an affidavit petitioned police against Shikha, no action has been taken yet.
He said his son went to Kanadia police station to surrender but law enforcers didn't take him in the custody.
He said the matter should be investigated without any political pressure or influence and the Forest Minister's daughter should be "charged with abusing Neha and threatening to kill my son".
Indore East SP O P Tripathi said, "Gauhati High Court former Chief Justice's son and his acquaintance lady architect's complaint were being probed. "We will take appropriate steps based on the findings," he added.
