Andhra Pradesh police today opened rowdy sheets against YSR Congress MLA from Nandyal constituency Bhuma Nagireddy and 12 others in connection with an attack on TDP councillors and other cases in Kurnool district.
"Rowdy sheets were opened against Nagireddy and 12 others today," Kurnool district SP A K E Ravikrishna told PTI over phone.
Nagireddy, who was arrested on November 1 in connection with the attack on some TDP councillors in Nandyal town of Kurnool district, is presently under judicial custody.
Nagireddy, along with his party workers, was booked on charges of attempt to murder and for instigating his followers to attack in connection with a scuffle that broke out between some councillors of TDP and YSRCP at Nandyal Municipal council hall on October 30, police had said earlier.
Some councillors sustained injuries in the incident while furniture, window panes and doors got damaged.
