The Cyber Crime Cell has written a letter to National Students Union of India's (NSUI's) Goa unit vice-president Sunil Kawathankar to provide screenshot copy or the URL of Lekhi's tweets.
Kawathankar had filed a complaint against Lekhi with the crime branch under section 228A (disclosure of identity of the victim of certain offences, etc.) of IPC.
"...Or else you should make yourself available for identifying the tweets and URL which is essential for further action," asked the letter sent by Cell's police inspector Rajesh Job.
A police spokesman said the complaint by Kawathankar was being investigated by Crime Branch with the help of cyber crime cell.
