Coriander, chilli fall on muted demand

Coriander and chilli prices drifted Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today owing to subdued demand from retailers and stockists coupled with adequate stocks following increased arrivals from growing regions.
Coriander and chilli prices fell by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 10,900-15,900 and Rs 10,400-17,400 per quintal, respectively.
Traders attributed fall in coriander and chilli prices to persistent arrivals from growing regions.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs):
Ajwain (per kg) 150-190, black pepper (per kg) 760-930, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,520-1,525 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,625-1,925.
