Coriander futures crawl up 1.74% on spot demand, tight supply

Amid a pick-up in domestic demand and tight supplies from producing regions, coriander prices inch up 1.74 per cent to Rs 10,279 per quintal in futures trade today.
Coriander for delivery in May rose Rs 176, or 1.74 per cent, to Rs 10,279 per quintal with an open interest of 41,100 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
Likewise, the spice for delivery in June contracts traded higher Rs 161, or 1.55 per cent, to Rs 10,550 per quintal in 19,120 lots.
