Coriander and jeera prices drifted lower by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today owing to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Besides, weakening trend in futures market put pressure on select spice prices.
Coriander prices fell Rs 200 to conclude at Rs 11,500-16,500 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also drifted lower by Rs 200 each to settle at Rs 16,300-16,900 and Rs 20,300-20,800 per quintal.
Marketmen said muted demand from retailers and stockists at higher levels against sufficient stocks mainly pulled down coriander and jeera prices.

Ajwain (per kg) 155-190, black pepper (per kg) 590-740, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,800-1,825 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 2,050-2,125.
